Other Issues in Media and Society

It is impossible to describe all the problems of the media and society. With the increase in the number of media and the evolution of humanity, new issues are emerging that the world did not hear a word about 50 years ago. I read most of the blogs that my colleagues wrote and chose the 5 that hooked me the most. The first blog I want to start with was written by Simon. A great blog on a topic similar to mine. Simon's blog will probably interest everyone for whom my blog seemed interesting.   The manipulation of the receiver relies heavily on manipulating emotions and the reduction of reality. Receptors acquire information through sight and sound, generating imagination and serving as the human mind's manipulation center. Classical warfare is almost impossible in a modern battle between countries possessing nuclear weapons due to the fear of atomic bombardment. Khrushchev (1962) stated, "There can be no winner or loser in a nuclear war. This is mutually assured destruction of both belligerents". What The Experts Say II

As the second, I will take the article of Eileen Culloty and   Jane Suiter.  Even though their article is not about the IW topic, its presence often occurs. From their article, I found that p eople who lack access to information from outside the nation and are dissatisfied with the flow and quality of information available within the country are more likely to rebel (Culloty & Suiter, 2021).  I nformation warfare aims to manipulate society in your adversary's nation   (Culloty & Suiter, 2021). As well as a previous article by Ms. Arazna, this article is well-structured and contains a lot of information on how IW manipulates people. From my point of view, familiarizing myself with this book is crucial for those who study Informational warfare. What The Experts Say I

As a first expert, I will take the article created by Marzena Araźna, National Defence University, Warsaw, Poland. The topic discussed in this article, named Modern Warfare, is well-revealed and consists of facts that suit the topic well. Marzena Arazna explained Hybrid Warfare and was the first author that I saw who discovered that manipulating the opponent is crucial to achieving objectives in informational warfare. The article consists of 29 pages and describes the phenomenon of "The Arab Spring." In her paper, I found many examples of how people are being manipulated by the information from the media and what effects it is leading to. Current Events II

This blog  did a great job giving information about what informational warfare is. It was well structured and easy to read. However, as well as in the first examined blog, I did not see the explanation of how IW manipulates society. This was my comment; unfortunately, it did not yet get approved. Great blog! I have been researching the IW topic from the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and examined many things from it. This post dramatically answers questions about the IW: What is It? How does it work? What weapons does it use? What could be an example of IW? I want to start with the topic of people manipulation. I was fascinated that you wrote about exploiting people to attack their own country.  "Type II: Denial, Destruction, degradation, distortion / Type III: Exploiting enemy information flows." Going through the posts, I usually do not see an explanation of how IW is working and how it affects people's minds. However, it is still an excellent explanatory post...

Current Events I

 This blog did a great job describing the situation happening in Ukraine after a week. However, in this blog, I did not see a proper explanation of how people are being manipulated.  This was my comment; unfortunately, it did not yet get approved. - It is fascinating to understand that! The world has never seen such an informational battlefield as we see it right now. It is possible to say that information warfare is the deliberate manipulation of information trusted by a target without the target's knowledge for the target to make decisions that are not in their best interests but are in the best interests of the person conducting the information warfare. In contemporary war, the capacity to influence is a critical instrument for achieving political objectives.
